Measuring storage I/O latency
I/O bottlenecks can be a big problem. As a system administrator, you want to identify underlying hardware issues when systems experience storage latency.
This search requires the Splunk Add-on for Microsoft Windows or the Splunk Add-On for Unix and Linux, set up by a system administrator. In addition, the iostat script must be enabled in your Splunk deployment and the sysstat performance monitoring tools for Linux must be installed.
